Marques Alston - Monmouth BasketballOn December 14, 2005 the Princeton Tigers lost to the Monmouth Hawks. The final score was Monmouth 41 - Princeton 21, and it set a record for the lowest scoring college basketball game in the modern era. The game was held at L. Stockwell Jadwin Gymnasium on the Princeton campus, and featured a battered Princeton team.

What is this modern era thing? Well, college basketball has had lower scoring games, but those happened prior to the three point line's introduction in 1986. Prior to this it was easy to keep a lid on scoring runs.
