San Diego's Nate Colbert set a runs-batted-in record for a doubleheader on August 1, 1972, knocking in 13 runs as the Padres swept the Braves, 9-0 and 11-7, at Atlanta Stadium. Colbert slugged five home runs in the two games, tying the twin bill mark established by Stan Musial in 1954. The homers accounted for 12 of ColberYs RBIs, with the 13th coming in on a single.
