What records were set when the Texas Rangers scored 30 runs?

Wow, the Texas Rangers sure nailed the heck out of the Baltimore Orioles on August 22, 2007. The Rangers won 30-3. No, it's not a football score. The hitting was heavy all day, but would you believe there were 5 different records set? It's amazing that in any game you're lucky to see one record set let alone 5.
Here are the five records set by the Texas Rangers:
- Modern Day Runs in a Game: The 30 runs scored eclipsed the previous record of 26 runs in a game. The previous record was held by teams in 1950 and 1955. Imagine how wild it is that record wasn't broken for 52 years. The last time 30 runs was scored by one team was in 1897. 110 years ago. Wow.
- Two players with seven RBIs on the same team: Ramon Vazquez and Jarrod Saltalamacchia both had seven RBIs. The last time this happened was in 1962, and before that it happened in 1950. That's it. Period.
- 30 unanswered runs: Remember, the Orioles scored the first three runs of the game, which means that the Rangers scored 30 unanswered runs. Last time that happened? Um, never in baseball.
- Size of victory: The Rangers won by 27 runs, which is a modern day record. In most high scoring games the two teams both hit well. Not today.
- Four players on the same team with four RBIs: Marlon Byrd, Travis Metcalf, Ramon Vazquez and Jarrod Saltalamacchia each had four RBIs, which hasn't happened since the Philadelphia Phillies did it in 1979.
An amazing game and one that is truly sports records worthy.
